A note from the founder

Every set begins on a leather bench, not a factory line.

I started OmegaQuest in 2016 after a decade of running homebrew campaigns above a pub on Crown Street. The games I loved always felt disposable — thin card, plastic trays, boxes that split by their third session. So I taught myself bookbinding and vegetable-tanned leatherwork to build quest games that survive a hundred nights and only get better with the wear.

Today our small Surry Hills studio hand-stitches every board, embosses every rulebook, and playtests each scenario with local groups before it ever ships. When you sit at one of our tables, you are holding months of cutting, tooling, and dice-rolling — made a five-minute walk from Central Station.

What we craft

Three ways to play with OmegaQuest

The Omega Campaign Box

The Omega Campaign Box

Our flagship 12-chapter cooperative saga.

A leather-clad legacy box for 2–5 players. Twelve linked chapters, 3–4 hours each, with hand-embossed rulebook and brass-riveted dice tray. AU$389, ships Australia-wide within two weeks.

Game Night at the Bench

Game Night at the Bench

Guided sessions in our Holt Street tasting room.

Book a private table for up to 6 and let our guides run a full scenario for you — no rules to learn. Wednesday to Sunday, 5pm–10pm. AU$45 per player, includes snacks and a take-home quest map.

Bespoke Commissions

Bespoke Commissions

Your own world, tooled and bound to order.

We design and hand-build custom quest sets for clubs, weddings, and studios — your story, your art, your family crest embossed on the cover. From AU$1,200, typically 6–8 weeks from first sketch.

Good to know

Questions from fellow adventurers

Not at all. Our Game Night sessions are fully guided — one of our team runs the scenario, handles every rule, and coaches you as you go. Most first-timers are making confident decisions within the first fifteen minutes.

The flagship box is built for 2 to 5 players and scales the difficulty automatically to your party size. Solo variant rules are included in the back of the rulebook for those quiet nights in.

Most commissions run six to eight weeks from the first sketch to the finished set. Complex worlds with custom miniatures or multiple books can take longer — we will give you an honest timeline before any deposit.

We are at 59 Holt Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010, a short walk from Central Station. The tasting room is open Wednesday to Sunday for booked sessions; workshop tours can be arranged on request during those hours.

Yes. We ship boxed games and completed commissions Australia-wide, with tracked delivery typically arriving within two weeks. In-person Game Nights, of course, happen only at our Surry Hills bench.

Because each box is hand-bound to order, we accept returns on unopened sets within 30 days of delivery. If anything arrives with a fault in the leatherwork or binding, we will repair or replace it at no cost.
